Process & Design

Modular builds are relatively straight forward. The process outlined below is an overview to give you a sense of what you can expect. We try to have as much of the building done on the factory floor which helps us avoid cost overruns and delays.

1.  Create and finalize design and project scope, make an initial project design payment (this accounts for 3 rounds of design revisions).

2.  Once the plan and scope are as you want them, you sign off on the plans and order.  At this time a 20% production deposit is required (this is 20% of the total building cost).

3. As your home is being constructed, we begin site work - foundation, and well and septic where needed.

4. You can expect your home to be built in 3-4 months, during which time your site will be prepared. You must have a foundation of at least 4’ (no slabs) so the modules can be connected.

5.  Delivery day - modules arrive

6.  Set day - our set crew sets the modules per your agreement and get it weather tight. Depending on your finish requirements, your house can be move-in ready within a few weeks.

To the right are a few of our designs, maximized for cost efficiency and construction efficiency (minimal finish work at the building site).
