We partner with KBS Builders for our custom design-builds. Whether you’re looking to build your dream home, to downsize or to build a net zero home, we will approach your project with care and attention to detail. You can always expect complete transparency on pricing, process and timing. We will share all direct costs, as well as our design-build fee so you can make informed decisions about your home. Below we have outlined a high-level overview of the process. Depending on circumstances you can expect a timeframe of 6-12 months from final design to move-in, with a typical build around 7 months.

DESIGN

1.  Create and finalize design and project scope, make an initial project design payment $1,500 (this accounts for 3 rounds of design revisions).

2.  Once the plan and scope are as you want them, you sign off on the plans and order your home.  At this time a 20% production deposit is required. If you are financing your project, you will likely need to secure a construction loan.

CONSTRUCTION

3. As your home is being constructed, we begin site work - foundation, and well and septic where needed.

4. You can expect your home to be built in 3-4 months, during which time your site will be prepared.

5.  At the time your home is delivered and set, you will make an additional payment.
