Maine Working Homes is in the final phase of this 7-unit development at 31-33 Booker Street in Thomaston. With 5 of the seven units sold, we have just two units currently available for purchase: a two bedroom two bath cottage (unit 6, pictured below), and a two bedroom one bath unit in the carriage house (unit 3). The cottage is a stand alone home with a private yard, walking distance to Main Street and Oceanside Middle school. The cottage offers single story living (with an option for second floor). 7 Unit Development at 31-33 Booker Street, Thomaston

Willow Street, Rockland

MWH purchased and completed extensive renovations to a duplex in downtown Rockland. Located a block from Rockland harbor and the Rockland Ferry Terminal. Willow Street was purchased by a Vinalhaven resident who intends to rent the property to year round residents. As with our South Thomaston project, we undertook substantial infrastructure renovations while limiting kitchen and bathroom upgrades to keep costs as low as possible and maintain the units’ affordability.

Westbrook Street, South Thomaston

Westbrook Street was a multifamily rental property which MWH converted into several 2-bedroom condominiums. MWH sold the units to local community members, including a nurse and a small business owner. MWH turned down several investor/all-cash offers in favor of fulfilling its mission to create home ownership opportunities for local Maine residents.

Purchased, November 2021, renovations completed January 2022, units closed April/May 2022.
